Through our strength-based programmes, our Parenting Team are committed to supporting parents and carers to develop their skills and knowledge of neurodevelopmental conditions, to help their children and young people to thrive and achieve their full potential.

Liverpool Families

Families of Children and Young people living in the Liverpool area (excluding Knowsley and Sefton) can access our 3-part, live streamed “Understanding and Supporting my child’s ADHD” webinar programme. Referrals can be made by paediatricians, CAMHS, Local Authority or from families themselves. Families can self-refer by using this link: REFER

Wirral Families

We are working in partnership with Wirral NHS Trust to provide support for parents and carers of Wirral children and young people, to provide our “Understanding and Supporting my child’s ADHD” programme. Wirral families can either access this programme as a 3-part live streamed webinar series, or alternatively as a two-day workshop. Families of those on the ADHD Pathway should be referred by the School Nurse Team. Post-diagnostic referrals can be made by the 0-19 school nurse team, CAMHS or a paediatrician.

Parent Training Menu for schools, organisations and businesses

We offer an extensive training menu on a wide range of parent courses, to schools, organisation and businesses. These courses can be tailored to your setting and to the specific needs of the parents / carers that your school, organisation or business support. School work

We have service level agreements with numerous schools across the Greater Merseyside area to deliver support to parents and carers. For families of children and young people attending these schools, we offer programmes such as “Understanding and supporting my child’s ADHD”, “Understanding and Supporting ASD” and “Understanding Behaviour”. Referrals can be made via the SENCO of the participating schools.
