The Neurodiversity Umbrella Project hits Milton Keynes!

We are absolutely thrilled to share that the Neurodiversity Umbrella Project has officially landed at Midsummer Place, Milton Keynes! We were lucky enough to head down and experience the launch for ourselves – and what an unforgettable day it was!

The official launch event on Saturday, March 15, brought together families, businesses, educators, and local leaders to celebrate neurodiversity and spread awareness. Guests were inspired by incredible speeches from amazing guest speakers, including Ife Thomas, motivational speaker and author, MP Chris Curtis, and Acting Chief Constable Denis Murray of Thames Valley Police.

Throughout the day, visitors were treated to fantastic performances from the Milton Keynes Dance Centre and Spectrum Community Arts, showcasing the incredible local talents.

We also heard from some brilliant experts, including ADHD coach Hester Grainger, business owner Bekka Prideaux, and our very own Interim CEO, Dr. Lindsey Roberts. Their talks provided invaluable insights into neurodiversity at home, in education, and in the workplace. Additionally, the Neurodiversity Marketplace was buzzing with organisations offering support and resources – a real testament to the power of community collaboration!

We are beyond proud to bring this initiative to Milton Keynes, thanks to the incredible support of Jane Lambert and her team, Midsummer Place and our wonderful partners Branded Brolly and City Dressing. The installation is around until September 2025, continuing to spark conversations and inspire change. We hope you get chance to see it!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported this amazing event. Together, we can keep building a world that recognises and celebrates the strengths of every individual.

If you are interested in bringing the Neurodiversity Umbrella Project to your school, workplace, or community, we’d love to hear from you! Get in touch with us at [email protected] to find out how you can get involved.
